AGC Electronics America (AGCEA) manufactures high-purity Silicon Carbide (SiC) Ceramics materials and CMP Slurries for the semiconductor industry. We also serve as a distributor for other AGC Electronics Materials manufactured in Japan and elsewhere. We are headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA, and are a division of AGC Flat Glass North America.
The Job Role
The AGC Facilities coordinator is responsible for managing building and equipment schedules, testing building security systems, supporting EHS compliance activities, and preparing for emergencies by creating action plans. The person in this job role coordinates planning for the future building space in conjunction with key stakeholder departments. They are also responsible for communicating with supply vendors and update company leaders on a daily basis.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee building and equipment maintenance schedules and contribute to emergency action plan development.
- Obtains vendor proposals and quotes, negotiates for best value, and collaborates with Purchasing and Accounts Payable departments.
- Develops and implements preventive maintenance plans and schedules, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assign tasks to team members or contracts vendors and service providers for specific maintenance activities.
- Monitors inventory levels of maintenance supplies and materials, and procures necessary items, tools, or equipment.
- Creates and updates procedures for mechanical and non-mechanical maintenance.
- Ensures compliance with internal policies, OSHA, and ADA by coordinating with Environmental, Safety, and Health staff.
- Supports management and senior project personnel or leads assigned projects, including planning, delegation, coordination, auditing, budgeting, reporting, and administrative duties.
- Handles moderately complex assignments, exercising judgment to resolve issues and make recommendations with input from stakeholders.
- Works independently on routine tasks and follows general guidance on new assignments.
- Manages workload effectively to meet tight project deadlines.
Qualified Candidates Will Have:
- At least 2 years of experience in a facilities-related role
- Experience with work orders and interacting with maintenance staff
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, vendor management, and service providers
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- A high-school diploma or GED
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or equivalent
- Previous experience in manufacturing plant setting
- Working knowledge of scheduling software/programs
- Experience supporting scheduled audits (ISO audit experience is a plus)
- Background in the semiconductor industry
What We Offer
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- This position is required to be on-site for the first 90 days of employment for training purposes. After training is completed, this position is hybrid optional (3 days/week onsite).
- This position will be required to occasionally come on-site for company events or as needed by the business.
- $50,245.00- $77,880.00 annually
