Description & Requirements

ManTech seeks an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This is an Onsite position.
 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• You will manage all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, security, and compliance with safety regulations

• Oversee vendor contracts and service agreements to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life

• Coordinate with internal departments to support space planning and facility modifications

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental and safety standards

• Prepare and manage facility budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities

• Respond promptly to facility emergencies and coordinate necessary repairs or interventions

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in building operations and systems including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, fire systems and electrical

• 2+ years of experience in facilities management, including experience with building systems, maintenance, and vendor management

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and building codes

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Must be able to obtain a forklift license

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing facilities in a government or defense contracting environment

• Familiarity with sustainable building practices and energy efficiency initiatives

Clearance Requirements:

• An active Secret clearance is required to perform this role

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
