Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will ensure care for the company’s buildings and grounds as prioritized by the Facilities Manager, including maintenance, repair and remodeling. Candidate must have general working experience and technical knowledge in remodeling construction, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Safety systems.

Responsibilities
Inspect buildings, electrical systems, grounds, and equipment to ensure safe, well-maintained conditions, identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
Perform troubleshooting and repairs; replace light bulbs, ballasts and fuses.
Assist with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC system, changing filters, bearings.
Complete maintenance work orders as assigned and in a timely manner.
Identify and perform basic service and repair on plumbing fixtures; open clogged lines and drains.
Identify and assist with carpentry and repair work.
Operate a variety of machinery, equipment and tools including saws, routers, drills, sanders, planers, drill presses and various hand tools.
Basic ability to read, interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, or oral instruction on a variety of structures related to the construction project.
Assist with moving, loading, unloading and storing supplies, furniture and equipment.
Adjustment of hours and/or weekend work may be required and/or occasional overtime.
Communicate effectively in a professional, tactful and courteous manner with employees and the general public.
Qualifications
Candidate must have professional and technical experience in Remodeling, Maintenance or Serviceman duties including with HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire/Safety Systems
High School diploma or GED
Position is primarily days but will require some on-call and weekend hours
Must have valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Must have excellent customer service skills and be dependable to complete work from start to finish in a timely manner.
