Duties:
- Drive to and from the farmers' markets
- Set up and break down farmers' market display
- Friendly, outgoing, welcoming customer service
- Easily handle cash transactions and track sales
- Ability to multi-task
- Restock produce as needed to maintain a high quality display
- Able to lift heavy crates and utilize proper body mechanics
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in farmers' markets preferred
- Knowledge of various crops preferred but not necessary
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Please note that fluency in English is required for this position.
We are looking for someone who would like to join a fun, organic, veggie loving farm team, and can effectively manage their time and stay organized, while maintaining a quality market display and helping customers while working at the farmers' markets.
There is opportunity to take on more responsibilities and help manage growing crops at the farm as well.
