Job Title: Field Acquisitions Specialist
Location: RGV – Rio Grande Valley, TX (Brownsville, McAllen, Harlingen, surrounding areas)
Are you someone who enjoys being out in the field, talking directly with people, and creating opportunities? We're looking for a boots-on-the-ground professional to help us connect with homeowners and source new real estate opportunities across the RGV.
This is a high-impact, field-based role ideal for someone who’s self-motivated, personable, and ready to take action. Your main responsibility will be visiting properties, knocking doors, meeting homeowners in person, and helping us acquire residential real estate. You’ll be the face of our company in the community—making connections, building trust, and uncovering new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Go door-to-door in target neighborhoods to speak with homeowners about selling their property.
- Conduct in-person visits and appointments with property owners across the RGV area.
- Perform basic property evaluations, take notes/photos, and report findings to our acquisitions team.
- Negotiate win-win deals directly with sellers and help guide them through our process.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth property acquisitions and timely follow-ups.
- Track conversations, visits, and leads using our CRM and reporting tools.
- Assist in grassroots marketing efforts including flyer drops, signs, and lead generation.
- Be the boots-on-the-ground eyes and ears of our investment strategy.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in sales, canvassing, or customer-facing roles preferred (real estate a plus but not required).
- Comfortable working outside and speaking with homeowners directly.
- Self-starter who thrives on setting and achieving goals.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Coachable, accountable, and driven by performance-based pay.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel daily within the RGV area.
