Job Description:
- Design, develop, and support systems within the financial modeling and research area.
- Design and develop new code and review existing code changes to ensure standard technology development practices are met.
- Manage the day-to-day operational execution of software solutions to assist with the monitoring and control of market and credit risks.
- Manage application development, modifications, and maintenance.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages.
- Partner with other areas of financial research and engineering when defining requirements for systems applications.
- Employs extensive professional expertise as a generalist or specialist.
- Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of ingenuity and creativity. Work is accomplished without appreciable direction.
- Exerts considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.
- Serves as the organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs.
- Acts as counselor to top management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
- Position is eligible for part-time telecommuting.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field, plus 8 years of experience in a software development occupation. The required experience must be progressively responsible and must include the following:
- 8 years of experience developing web applications using JavaScript/Typescript, HTMLs, and CSS;
- 4 years of experience using ReactJS, Redux;
- 5 years of experience writing automated unit, integration, regression, performance, and acceptance tests;
- 4 years of experience using version control systems like GIT, GitLab and Bitbucket;

Must have demonstrated knowledge* of:
- Object oriented JavaScript, RESTful APls, DOM, and the relevant concepts.
- Building reusable components and frontend libraries for future use.
- Automated Cl/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, docker.
- Working knowledge of NodeJS.
- Demonstrated knowledge can be established through coursework, training, or work experience.. References required.
40 hours per week 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $145,000 - $217,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
