**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering floral arrangements and plants to customers in a safe and timely manner. This role requires a background in driving, with a focus on delivery and customer service. The driver will operate a large cargo van, and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
**Duties:**
- Drive a cargo van to safely transport flower arrangements to customers in a timely.
- Load and unload goods and packages from the vehicle, using floral peg system.
- Navigate through busy streets and highways, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear and concise information about their deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service, handling any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Drive a delivery route, following specific directions and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or delays.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, adhering to all safety regulations.
**Skills:**
- Experience as a delivery driver or courier.
- Knowledge of delivery driving and route driving.
- Familiarity with the handling flowers.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Driving experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands on the job.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
