Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members to enhance the overall guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Background in culinary arts, hospitality, or guest services will be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with guests and team members.

Pay: From $10.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
