We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to communicate effectively with both kitchen staff and guests.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet tables, ensuring all necessary items are available for service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any guest requests or concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating guest needs and responding to inquiries with a friendly demeanor.
- Support the waitstaff by refilling drinks, providing additional utensils, or addressing any immediate guest needs during service.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, as well as experience in banquet services or hotel environments.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
