Job Summary 75 on Liberty Wharf (located in Boston's Seaport area) is seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner/Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and enjoyably. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers in ensuring that all orders are complete and presented correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to relay any special requests or modifications from guests.
- Help with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries or needs during their dining experience.
- Support catering events by assisting with setup, service, and cleanup as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants or catering, is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and kitchen operations is a plus.
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.
