The Forecast Analyst is responsible for assisting in the creation, analysis, and maintenance of forecasts to support business planning and decision-making. This role works closely with operations, finance, and commercial teams to ensure accurate projections of demand, volume, and performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret data into actionable insights.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS
- Assist in developing and maintaining short-and long-term forecasts for operational or financial metrics
- Collect, validate, and organize data from multiple internal and external sources
- Analyze historical trends, seasonality, and market factors to support forecast accuracy
- Develop financial models and reporting frameworks to support strategic projects and business initiatives
- Update forecast models with current data and business assumptions
- Prepare regular forecast reports, dashboards, and presentations for management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and incorporate them into forecasts
· Identify data anomalies and work with relevant teams to correct inconsistencies.
· Support ad-hoc analysis requests and scenario planning and profitability activities.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
· At least 1 year of experience in FP&A, forecasting, or equivalent finance-related role.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with forecasting tools or BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
· Analytical mindset with attention to accuracy and detail.
· Ability to interpret and present data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
