Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced <PERSON>/Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage teams and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software.
- Review contracts and specifications to ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed, ensuring quality control and adherence to blueprints and schematics.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and track expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, communication, and project management tasks.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members while fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in construction estimating processes by analyzing project needs and resources.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid.
- Strong understanding of construction processes including budgeting, estimating, blueprint reading, and quality control.
- Experience in managing construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
- Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to adapt plans as necessary.
- Proven supervisory experience with strong leadership capabilities.
- Familiarity with pipeline construction practices is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for technical assessments.
