Position Summary:
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Forestry Equipment Operator to join our crew. This isn’t a boring job—you’ll be running serious heavy equipment, turning walls of brush into clean, open land. The position is part-time with the potential for more hours, and we’re paying up to $30/hour based on experience. Have a CDL Class A? That’s a huge bonus—we’d love to put that to work moving equipment between sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate high-flow skid steers with Fecon forestry mulching heads.
- Tackle a variety of terrain and brush density levels, from thick forest to steep hillsides.
- Travel to job sites (mostly within 30 miles of Loveland, OH).
- Work safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the crew to meet project timelines.
- Keep equipment clean and in good operating condition.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating skid steers or similar heavy equipment preferred (mulching experience a plus).
- Willingness to learn forestry mulching techniques if you’re not already experienced.
- Strong work ethic and reliability are non-negotiable.
- CDL Class A license is a big plus (and earns you extra money).
- Must have reliable transportation to job sites.
