About Teambridge:
More than 60% of workers in the US (and 70% of workers in the world) are paid hourly, and the businesses that employ them each have their own unique processes and workflows when it comes to managing their workforce. Unfortunately, the workforce management tools that have historically been available to them are some combination of rigid, outdated, or not built for an on-the-go workforce.
Teambridge is the world’s first flexible workforce management platform–it’s fully composable and built mobile-first, making it easy for companies to mold Teambridge to the unique shape of their business. Teambridge is powered by modular, no-code blocks that can be combined to automate any task or process that comes with managing a large workforce, such as hiring and onboarding, or time tracking and scheduling.
With a $28M Series B raised in 2024, Teambridge is funded by General Catalyst, Mayfield and industry leading angel investors as we build flexible, efficient, and intuitive solutions for complex workforce challenges. Based in San Francisco, Teambridge is committed to redefining the industries we partner with.
The Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you’ll work on our Activations team and partner directly with our customers to design, implement, and optimize solutions on Teambridge’s platform. You’ll act as the bridge between our engineering team and our customers’ unique needs—deploying quickly, solving problems in real time, and adapting our technology to fit new use cases.
This is not a traditional engineering role—you’ll be in the field (virtually or on-site), collaborating closely with client teams, product managers, and Teambridge engineers. You’ll thrive if you’re entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed, and love solving messy, high-stakes technical problems with creativity and speed.
Responsibilities:
Partner with customers to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and goals.
Design and deliver custom technical solutions leveraging Teambridge’s platform and APIs.
Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on solutions in fast-paced environments.
Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to improve core features and influence the product roadmap based on customer feedback.
Provide ongoing support: Once customers reach BAU (business as usual), they should be self-sufficient—but when things break (as they do at startups), you’ll jump in to troubleshoot and maintain trust.
Help qualify opportunities by identifying when requests are scalable vs. when they risk becoming one-off consulting projects.
Troubleshoot issues in real time—whether configuration, integration, or system-level challenges.
Build scalable processes and reusable playbooks for future deployments.
