Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
- Perform clerical duties including data entry, calendar management, and maintaining accurate records of guest transactions.
- Utilize computer systems for booking reservations, processing payments, and managing guest accounts.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as proofreading documents and maintaining organized files.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills including data entry and familiarity with software such as QuickBooks is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with guests effectively.
- A background in clerical work or administrative support is beneficial but not required.
