We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team at a vibrant hotel/resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Maintain phone etiquette while answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications using phone systems and hotel management software.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and balanced.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations by resolving issues or complaints in a professional manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality management is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
