Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team at a premier hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Front Desk Agent will also assist with night audits and other administrative tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and local attractions.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed guest expectations.
- Perform night audit duties as required, including balancing accounts and preparing reports.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and readily available for guests.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are clean and well-maintained.
- Utilize hotel management software to manage reservations, billing, and guest services effectively.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when answering calls or responding to inquiries from potential guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or front desk operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems is a plus.
- A background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous.
- Multilingual or bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance the guest experience.
