Basic customer service and office procedures such as: answering phones, making reservations, processing payments, inputting data into reservation software and spreadsheets, basic math calculations and attending to owner and guest needs and requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implements training of property policies and procedures and operational goals and objectives
- Manage online, phone, and in-person reservations.
- Welcome guests, check them in, and explain amenities and property rules.
- Respond to guest issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner.
- Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet rental program standards and accommodate any special requests.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of property information, including, but not limited to, unit types, rates, and processing payments.
- Receive mail and packages and distribute accordingly.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
Skills and Physical Demands:
- Ability to learn and operate PMS system and learn and perform basic office/clerical tasks.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, organization skills, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic
- Regularly required to talk and listen.
