We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the establishment, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Handle food safely and in accordance with food safety regulations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining a tidy dining area.
- Process transactions accurately using retail math skills to manage cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and specials to effectively communicate with customers.
- Participate in ongoing training related to food handling, safety protocols, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
