Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring smooth operations in the front of the house. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in restaurants, sports bars, country clubs or banquet settings is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using SkyTab or similar systems.
- Provide menu information and assist guests with their selections, including food and beverage pairings.
- Process orders accurately and promptly using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and entryways.
- Assist with brewing beverages as needed, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a helpful attitude.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks during service periods.
- Uphold all food handling safety protocols to ensure guest health and satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, Sport Bar, Country Club or banquet setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Skytab or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members alike.
