Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience through effective communication, efficient service, and a positive attitude.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Take customer orders accurately using the Aloha POS system or cash register.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments and providing change.
- Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
- Sanitate dining areas and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest concerns.
- Maintain a well-organized front-of-house area, including menus and promotional materials.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests positively.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- A commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of responsibility.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
