Compassionate Dentistry is seeking a full time dental assistant to join our fun and family friendly dental practice. Dr. Sara Riechers and her dental team strive to provide quality, patient-centered dental care in a positive, compassionate and efficient manner.
Qualified candidates will have the below skills:
- Impeccable sterile technique
- Have excellent verbal/written skills, be professional and have an outstanding work ethic
- Must have that "Go Getter" attitude and want to be part of a fun/successful team
- Great follow through/resolve
- Attention to detail/complete tasks with precision and accuracy
- Fast learning capability with appropriate office software
- EFDA, sealant and soft reline certifications a plus
Duties include but not limited to:
- Take x-rays
- Assist doctor with dental procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment
- Patient education and oral hygiene instruction
- Accurate charting
- Stock rooms and order supplies
- Sterilize instrument
- Equipment maintenance and upkeep
- Answer phone calls with a smile
- Checking patients in and out
- Scheduling appointments
- Other duties as assigned
Typical week: 4 days/week, 9 hours/day
