Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team.
Hours are Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Pay is $16.00/hr.
Must have transportation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and stripping as needed.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently.
- Assist with custodial duties in commercial buildings, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and transportation to work.
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is required.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety in the workplace.
