Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering new stock and conducting regular audits.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions and returns.
- Handle cash register operations, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on budgeting and financial planning for the store.
- Conduct interviews for potential new hires and assist in the onboarding process.
- Implement pricing strategies to maximize sales while maintaining profitability.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages employee orientation and development.
Skills
- Strong employee orientation with a focus on team management and development.
- Proficient in operating POS systems and cash registers with attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with customers and vendors.
