Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Gas Station Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while ensuring the smooth operation of our gas station. You will be responsible for assisting customers with fuel purchases, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and promoting additional products and services available at our station.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with fuel purchases and other services.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales of items such as snacks, beverages, and car care products.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Upsell additional products to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness in the gas station area, including restrooms and convenience store sections.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about products for effective selling.
- Experience with product demos and upselling techniques is a plus.
