Job Overview
We are hiring a Lead General Contractor / Skilled Tradesperson who can run residential jobs from start to finish with minimal oversight. You should be confident across most trades, especially carpentry, indoor plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor drywall repair. You’ll be expected to deliver clean, detail-oriented work, maintain a tidy jobsite and work vehicle, and communicate professionally with clients and management.

Duties
- Manage small to mid-sized residential projects independently and with a partner when necessary
- Perform a variety of skilled tasks in multiple trades
- Uphold jobsite cleanliness and safety
- Maintain tools, work vehicle, and materials in an organized fashion
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners and team members
- Ensure quality control and job completion according to scope
- Train and supervise a helper as we grow
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on residential construction experience preferred
- Strong skills in carpentry, plumbing (indoor), electrical, painting, and drywall patching. More trade skills are a plus.
- Clean and professional appearance and demeanor.
- Tattoos allowed except no face or offensive tattoos.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Own tools
- Own a truck or cargo van (fuel reimbursed)
- Certifications, licenses, or professional training a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and navigate confined spaces
- Fluent in English, Spanish a plus
Communications & Technology
- Must be reachable via phone/text throughout the day
- Comfortable sending photo updates and using basic digital documentation
- Experience with project management software a plus (but not required)
- Required to download work software apps
Customer Interactions
- Work will be done in occupied homes — professionalism, courtesy, and respect for client property is essential
- Friendly, solution-oriented communication style with homeowners and team

Time Off
- PTO (vacation): 56 hours/year (frontloaded, can begin using after 60 days) (no PTO for part time employees and first year apprentices)
- Holidays (paid): 7 major holidays, New Year‘s day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day , Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day
- Increase in PTO after 1 year of employment
- 40 Hours paid Sick Leave
- Flexible unpaid days off as needed if scheduling allows
- Maximum carry over PTO cap 80 hours
