The General Manager is responsible for overall store performance, including daily operations, team development, guest satisfaction, and achieving financial targets. This role requires a hands-on leader who leads by example and creates a culture of accountability, hospitality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness standards are met.
- Drive sales and profitability by executing marketing initiatives, managing budgets, and controlling costs.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and employee retention.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, labor laws, and company policies.
- Manage scheduling, inventory, vendor relationships, and daily cash handling procedures and other duties assigned.
- Create and maintain an exceptional guest experience through hospitality-focused leadership.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree in hospitality or business preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in the restaurant/QSR industry.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational results.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
