Balanced Body is hiring! We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our warehouse and logistics operations. This position is responsible for strategically planning and managing warehousing, transportation, and customer service operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to lead teams while optimizing inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution efficiency. Strategic & Operational Management
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service operations for both domestic and international markets.
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to cost, productivity, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
- Implement best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize costs and overtime.
- Analyze logistics data to optimize processes, improve productivity, and reduce losses.
Warehouse Operations & Procurement
- Oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Organize warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and workflow.
- Maintain quality control, inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfillment.
- Inspect, maintain, and manage warehouse equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all warehouse activities.
- Develop and manage budgets for the purchasing department & tracking expenditures.
- Assess vendor performance based on quality and delivery to ensure optimal sourcing.
- Work with internal stakeholders & align purchasing strategies with overall business goals.
Logistics & Transportation
- Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, scheduling shipments and managing transportation providers.
- Monitor stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
- Negotiate with carriers and manage third-party logistics (3PL) relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and industry standards.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, coach, train, and drive accountability within warehouse and logistics teams.
- Develop staff through performance management, goal setting, and training.
- Foster a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
Safety & Compliance
- Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce workplace safety policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management with proven leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success in distribution and logistics management.
- Strong experience with WMS, ERP systems, and logistics software.
- OSHA forklift certification and valid driver’s license.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
