We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal drafting, document management, and compliance management. This role involves researching funding opportunities, preparing grant proposals, and ensuring adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations. The Grant Writer will play a crucial role in securing funding for our projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with organizational goals.
- Draft, review, and edit grant proposals to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with funder requirements.
- Manage the entire grant application process from inception to submission, including timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
- Maintain organized documentation of all grant-related materials and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and other relevant guidelines throughout the grant process.
- Develop relationships with vendors and stakeholders to enhance proposal quality and effectiveness.
- Utilize Salesforce for tracking submissions, deadlines, and reporting on grant activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in grant writing or a related field with a strong understanding of the grant application process.
- Proficiency in legal drafting, document review, contract management, and business management.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze data and present findings effectively.
- Familiarity with compliance management practices related to grants and funding sources.
- Experience in vendor management is preferred but not required.
- Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems is advantageous.
