Highlights of the Housekeeping / Groundkeeper / Porter Position:
- Weekends required
- Maintains grounds of community, including outside building, and garbage removal as assigned
- Clean grounds and remove litter, using spike stick, broom or blower.
- Assists in maintaining all grounds, buildings apartment homes and equipment
- Interacts with residents and staff in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- A minimum of one (1) year relevant experience housekeeping / porter in hospitality, hotels, or senior living (preferred)
- Must be able to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach and carry, stand for extended periods of time and may be required to move furniture.
- Maintain the inside of the building, offices, and common areas, including carpet and furniture cleaning, window cleaning, removal of trash, and upkeep of vinyl floors and carpet areas as assigned
- Prepare apartments for move-in and complete refurbishing of units after move-out as assigned
