Job Title: Lawn Care Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Lawn Care Technician to join our team. The Lawn Care Technician will be responsible for maintaining and servicing lawns for residential and commercial properties. This is a physically demanding job that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and working long hours during peak seasons.
Responsibilities:
- Perform lawn care maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and trimming
- Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other hand tools
- Conduct inspections to identify and diagnose lawn care issues such as pests, diseases, and weed infestations
- Implement appropriate treatments and solutions to resolve lawn care issues
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide information and recommendations on lawn care services
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Work long hours during peak seasons to meet customer demands
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in lawn care maintenance preferred
- Strong knowledge of lawn care practices and techniques
- Ability to operate lawn care equipment and machinery
- Physical stamina and endurance to work long hours in various weather conditions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Landscaping knowledge would be a plus but not required
Working Conditions:
The Lawn Care Technician will work primarily outdoors, often in hot and humid conditions during the summer months. The job requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy equipment and materials. The technician may be exposed to chemicals and pesticides and must follow safety protocols and guidelines. The job may require working long hours, including weekends and holidays, during peak seasons.
