Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team of commercial restaurant properties in Greenport Village. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance, with expertise in electrical systems, fabrication, HVAC, refrigeration and property management. This role is essential for ensuring that all facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment and looking good.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs.
- Painting, planting and irrigation, lifting.
- Work with management to inform of any needed repairs and implement them quickly.
- Lead small teams on specific projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance roles, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, property maintenance is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills to guide teams effectively during maintenance projects.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all tasks performed.
