The Dialysis Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Dialysis Department by monitoring and coordinating the plan of nursing care with the nephrologists, patient, family and other staff disciplines, if necessary. The Dialysis Supervisor communicates changes in the patient’s clinical condition with the physician and co-workers as appropriate. He/She ensures that all decisions and plans are carried out by staff members, as instructed by management.
License or Certification:
- Current Texas State licensure as a RN
- CPR Certification, ACLS Certification
Total Education, Vocational Training and Experience:
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in dialysis
- Acute and/or long-term acute care experience is preferred
- Successful completion of a Hemodialysis Training Program
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
- Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions and meet deadlines in a detailed-oriented manner
- Ability to communicate effectively in both writing and verbal arenas
- Ability to work independently without supervision

Pay: $1,661.39 - $2,000.82 per week
