Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled A/V Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in low voltage systems in commercial and high end residential. Knowledge in security camera systems, access control, structured cabling, audio visual, Automation control, Networks/wifi. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage equipment and systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems
- Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and repair existing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints/plans to ensure proper installation of cabling and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections on installed systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role in the field of electrical or telecommunications work.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with computer networking principles and computer hardware setup.
- Knowledge of system design principles for security systems including sensors and surveillance equipment.
- Experience with locksmithing is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
