Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their independence. This position requires a caring attitude and the ability to work with individuals who may have various health challenges, including memory care and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking as needed.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accordingly.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks including laundry and maintaining a clean living environment.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and report any changes in client conditions to healthcare professionals.
- Offer specialized care for clients requiring memory care or hospice care services.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic medical procedures.
- Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to lift clients safely and assist them in mobility tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others.
- Basic understanding of medical records management systems is beneficial.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
