Overview
WEEKENDS ONLY: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide care to individuals in their homes--WEEKENDS ONLY. This role requires experience working with developmental and physical disabilities. MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide patient monitoring and observation to ensure safety and well-being.
- Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Administer medication as directed and maintain accurate records of patient care.
- monitor blood pressure and glucose testing
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
Experience
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home health settings is preferred. GROUP HOME EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
- Patience and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families.
- A background in nursing or related healthcare fields can be beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to observe patient conditions accurately and report changes as necessary.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
