Job Summary:
Under general supervision & in accordance w/ established policies & procedures, type treatment plans by abstracting medical data from a variety of patient assessment documents. Medical terminology required.
Essential Responsibilities:

- Medical Transcription: Type patient treatment plans & other patient care documents applying correct medical & pharmaceutical terminology
- Read patient assessment documents & provider progress notes & abstract medical information for inclusion on the treatment plan
- Edit typed reports for completeness & accuracy of spelling, correct use of medical terminology, English grammar & punctuation
- Submit treatment plans to proper disciplines for review & signature
- Administrative & Other: Assume other activities & responsibilities from time to time as directed
