Responsibilities
- Feed raw materials into hopper systems or other machinery as required.
- Remove finished products and waste materials from equipment efficiently.
- Monitor material levels and notify supervisors of any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations during operation.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies to management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in manufacturing or production operations are a plus.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of machinery operation and material handling techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
