Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, cashing people out and and ensuring that the dining area runs smoothly. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with seating options.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods.
- Assist in coordinating the flow of guests to ensure efficient seating.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to relay guest needs.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items and making reservations as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, to manage orders and track guest preferences.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to help create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
- Experience with food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with guest relations and customer service best practices.
- Proficient in phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations.
