We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will play a vital part in creating a positive dining atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process efficiently.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
- Assist with the setup and cleanliness of the dining area, ensuring it is inviting and well-maintained.
- Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to manage reservations and guest information effectively.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Help coordinate special events or large parties, ensuring all details are handled seamlessly.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in restaurant or hotel settings.
- Familiarity with food service operations and guest services is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and team members effectively.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.32 - $14.69 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
