Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, handling reservations and inquiries.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Handle guest relations, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservations and order management.
Skills
- Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, with a background in food service or hospitality.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in hotel guest services or restaurant settings is a plus.
