Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with an inviting atmosphere.
- Manage the seating arrangements efficiently.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, restaurant services, and special events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance guest relations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a team-oriented environment.
