Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure that all guests feel welcomed and valued. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their tables
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Provide menus
- Answer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, handling inquiries and reservations
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance guest satisfaction
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations at all times
Experience
- Previous Host/Host experience preferred
- Background in food service or restaurant operations is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in hotel or guest services can be beneficial
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
