Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall dining experience.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with an accurate wait time.
- Manage the reservation system and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Communicate effectively with both guests and staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in managing the flow of guests during peak hours to minimize wait times.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu offerings and making reservations as needed.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with a positive attitude.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to enhance guest relations.
- A passion for food service and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
