Our family owned restaurant is looking for a reliable, flexible individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. Shift likely needed are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, hours 4 or 5 to 8-10, varying based on need. The right candidate could have previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry, and the ability to work quickly, accurately and with a positive attitude. This would also be a great first job for the right individual. Ideal candidates are energetic, friendly and capable of handling multiple responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a professional manner.
- Answer phones and communicate with management about walk-in customers and reservations.
- Maintain a neat, clean appearance on shift.
- Read from the computer to ensure guests have ordered the correct meals.
- Keep the front of house looking presentable.
