We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Host/Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and manage the seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency.
- Assist with the setup and clearing of tables, ensuring that all dining areas are clean and well-presented.
- Support servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, as well as refilling drinks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant, including dining rooms, restrooms, and entryways.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Familiarize yourself with the menu items to assist guests with their selections when needed.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for basic order entry and table management as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and enhancing guest relations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
