We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by providing exceptional service and maintaining positive guest relations.
Pay is 8.50/hr plus tips!
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the Aloha POS system.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods.
- Uphold high standards of food service and hospitality at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a fast-paced setting.
