Duties:
- Safely operate various types of commercial vehicles, including tanker trucks, flatbed trucks, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and forklifts.
- Transport freight and goods to designated locations.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents that occur.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
Experience:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles such as tankers, flatbeds, tractor-trailers, dump trucks.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating various locations.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for transporting hazardous materials (if applicable).
- Ability to operate a forklift or other equipment as required.
