Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Head Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. As a Hotel Head Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness will contribute significantly to our guests' satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Managing the housekeeping department by hiring, disciplining, and training all new housekeeping personnel
- Inspecting rooms and fixing issues you find in the room
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional hospitality service.
- Ability to lift, carry, or move heavy objects as needed during cleaning tasks.
