Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and towels are cleaned and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel’s laundry services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder hotel linens and guest clothing.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold various types of fabrics according to established procedures.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items to various departments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred, especially in a hotel setting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads as required.
